Abandoned system is the last thing I need for expedition 1. Scatter blaster is my favorite for all content. Scatter blaster for up close, pulse spitter for some distance, plasma launcher if you’re feeling brave. Any of them will work to kill a walker. Unupgraded it can obliterate ships superclose range in 2 hits, and max range 4 hits with the third hit taking nearly 90% of a ships health.Hopping back in after a few years. The mechanics of what a supercharged slot actually does is a little opaque, particularly with putting technologies in them directly instead of upgrade modules. I noticed that when you put a weapon in the slot directly, the damage listed on the weapon goes up a ton, much more than if you put upgrade modules for the weapon in the slot. For my multi tool I like the pulse spitter and scatter blaster.Fully upgraded positron still kills enemy starships very quickly. Two hits does it - it was one hit before but they have a high fire rate so that's a minor inconvenience. Phase beam with 6 S-grade upgrades + special is pretty decent weapon. So as Photon Cannon with the same amount of upgrades.
