4 days ago · So I picked up a new CVA Scout in .444 Marlin. First thing I did was remove the brake and put a Schmidt Bender 1.5-6x42 scope on it. Local gun store only had the Leverrevolution Ammo in stock. After a couple shots to get it dialed in I shot a 3 shot group and was very surprised. It had a great trigger and would group 1 1/2” at 100 with federal 300 gn factory ammo . They break down just like a shot gun. So probably really good as a pack rifle. I only got rid of mine cause I want more than one shot.
