Really, you want several crews for base defense: Crew 1, Kras plus synergy. This helps reduce the enemy crew and most importantly it stops Rom from working. Crew 2, dependent on tier of Harrison, either pike/Moreau Harrison, Picard Beverly Harrison, or maybe pike Harrison and Gorkon/Lorca depending on their tiers.Trying defend an attack with a miner is a lost cause. Don't even bother trying it. If you REALLY want to mine ISO with a Meridian [which you should] you have to plan on watching it the whole time. The Meridian is NOT your typical set-it-and-forget-it miner. Any PvP crew that doesn't depend on ship abilities.
