I don't know how DD treats a 2-month hiatus, but unless they reset everything, if you have at least 100 current deliveries, declining 1 order should not drop your AR by more than 1 point. If you started at 39%, accepted 4 orders, declined 1 order, at worst your AR should have been 38%. That's how a rolling 100 is supposed to work.

During that time, my acceptance rate was mostly in the 15-20% range.I took the resetting of my acceptance rate since mine was at like 10% hoping I'd start getting better offers. Nope, they just give you every since order including ones you're no where near. Acceptance rate back down to 11% and still no decent orders. What a joke 🙄

But if there are none or low amounts, you're still going to get trash orders. This is another one of their scam strategies to get drivers to accept trash orders.

I haven’t reset mine (currently at 10%) and I still receive $10+ orders. I’m sure it varies from market to market. My acceptance rate is 7% and i make 25 an hour regularly. Doordash does not penalize for having a low acceptance rate it’s in the handbook.

I would only say yes, if you can consistently get good orders & get 50% AR whilst doing this. Honestly I think it depends on the dasher account. I have a 4.99 customer rating, 96% completion and a93% on time or early with a 64% acceptance in the stl mo market. My orders are $5-$8 for under 2 miles consistently. I am at like 9% acceptance rate and i have an average of $10 tips for the week. but yes it does help if you are able to get to 50%, but my market there are too many shit orders. its not worth it. I rather figure out how to hack the system to where the acceptance rate doesnt go down. thats only way itll be worth it 1. Be selective on the offers you accept. Being smart about which orders you accept is the best way to make the most on Doordash, in my opinion. But it may also be the best way to keep your customer ratings up.
