For the time it takes to complete one when compared to Legend Lost Sectors, the drop rate increase isn't noticeable enough. You are always better off going for Legend clears, as they are significantly faster to complete, whilst having a similar enough drop rate (IIRC Legend has a 20% or 25% drop rate, where as Master has a 30% or 35% rate).Legendary drop rate is around 25% on a platinum ranking. The legendary lost sectors not dropping the new exotics as a guaranteed first drop is a terrible idea. Math: There are 9 exotic arms for Warlock. So, an exotic arm piece dropping is 1/9. For Hunters and Titans, there are 10 exotic arms - so the probabilities are even worse. If the drop rate is 1 in 5 runs:
