Cheers Currently you can use a knife or screwdriver to craft a notched plank out of logs, bypassing the need for a saw to make planks. It's moot, because you still need a saw to make a sturdy stick out of planks, but it seems inconsistent, because if I can make a notched plank out of logs, I should also be able to craft a sturdy stick out of logs.It's been a while but I think you can't light a fire with stick while exhausted. 7. May 15, 2016 · You must have a lighter and twigs or other firestarter in your inventory. Then right click for the option. Make sure you have added fuel too, or else it will go out soon after. It doesn't appear to be working, I have two logs inside of the antique oven, some twigs and a lighter in my main inventory and it won't let me.
Get a car or truck (if you have Filibusters used cars mod). Until then your best bet is to use ropes (2-4) to tie logs into log stacks, then hauling them to your preferred location and sawing them to planks there. But early on the most efficient way (if you are in a neighborhood) is to disassemble furniture in houses that are close to you.
