The "D" may not be one it has a straight back on the left and curve on the right, but the curve has a break in it.

Based on the "H" serial number, your gun was made in 1951. Actually, Model 90's made prior to 1949 had a solid web between the barrels. The description in The Blue book of Gun Values stating that guns prior to 1949 were open between the barrels is wrong. Marlin introduced the "lever-release" or "latch-type" forearm in 1951.
