Ammo 7c a round too. Anyway what I did was find a chu wood stock and just dremeled down the "ears" till it looked flat if that makes sense. I then re finished the stock/grip/forend to a lighter color just like the blonde wood imports. Looks very good and functions just fine. The problem is original chu wood stock/grip sets are getting rediculous!

Here's a conversion, the new mak90 flats are .050", just right for Russian front trunnions (with minor milling). The problem is, the mak90 flats are 3/8" longer, which creates a dust cover fit issue. Since Norinco front trunnions are unavailable, the flat is a better option over the 1mm.

It looks like there is an adapter on it already no?. You could always make it into a underfolder I believe the angle on a milled mak is the same as a milled type 56 underfolder. But there is much more work going that route obviously.Sweet rifle though I'd go with some iron wood designs furniture and call it a day.
