Iron sights are more individual eye dependent than scopes. I have a 16" bbl Rossi Puma 92 in .357 (without the lawyer safety) so the peep sight from Steve's Gunz is not an option. I found that the gun hit dead on the bulls-eye at 25 yards with the back sight elevation ramp completely removed and the sight leaves resting on the barrel.All of the blued/black R92 with the 24" barrel I've seen locally are pre-drilled and taped for the tang sight; none of the SS models locally are pre-drilled. All the on-line photos I've seen of the blued long barreled R92 that show the upper tang are drilled and taped, as opposed to the SS models which appear not to.
