Same here. Bought Conquest Pass+ specifically for this, so that I could unlock Malgus with the two Proving Grounds (30 shards away). To unlock the event, it requires at least 4 million Galactic Power and tiers require Relic 3+ characters. You can refresh any given tier twice for a crazy amount of crystals. So in theory you can get up to 60 shards/event, but it's costly.
