I was a sub for 12 years. I became regular in 2019, this rrecs has given me the courage to finally write to connect to other carriers. I have so many questions myself. There is a time line posted for the implementation of Rrecs , it was in the rrecs MOU , and I am almost certain the first evaluations under the new system come out in July.I know many had some " efficiency " habits that were against protocols. I ask because, perhaps rrecs training isn't so much the answer as educating carriers to job standards. I really am curious if carriers have started working more to required protocols than prior to rrecs.Current USPS standards are based on the number of addresses eligible for service rather than on those actually served. Since the RRECS standards are based on a standard time for each address served, using the number of eligible addresses would overestimate the actual work required. The parties are still in discussion and"I'm guessing rural carriers will still have the option to case DPS, but they will basically have no evaluated time to do so." You never got any time to case DPS. All the time is route time. It looks like the DPS standard is 60 pieces per minute. Raw letters are .0647 office time and .01662 route time. That's 12 per minute vs the 18 we get now
