In order to personally recognize and accommodate all School of Arts and Sciences graduates, we will host four ceremonies - two on Saturday, May 11th and two on Tuesday, May 14th at 10am and 3pm. As a graduate, you will be asked to register for the ceremony you would like to attend –you can only register for one ceremony! College Honors. College honors at graduation are determined by final cumulative GPA and are noted on the diploma and final transcript: 3.500 - 3.699. Cum laude. 3.700 - 3.849. Magna cum laude. 3.850 - 4.000. Summa cum laude. Averages are not rounded to the next higher number in the calculation of honors. If you are a GSE master’s degree candidate and you plan to graduate in August 2024 you are permitted to walk at the convocation in May 2024 provided you are registered for everything you need to graduate in Summer 2024. ... The Rutgers University - New Brunswick and Rutgers Health Commencement is only open to the Class of 2024 (October 2023, January 2024, May 2024). We encourage people to attend and represent our school and students.
