The front door speakers are not working, but from time to time they come on for a brief moment. also, the door chime only works if the front door speakers are working. weirdest thing i've ever seen. changed the radio with another factory 2007 gmc sierra radio, and it made no difference. any suggestions? Jeffrey Turcotte May 08, 2011.Tailgate Speaker System powers on, but no sound. Check that proper mode is selected, e.g. Bluetooth, Aux, USB. Refer to Bluetooth Controller User Manual. Tailgate Speaker System has rattle or buzz. Make sure foam tape is applied to rear of speaker baffle. Make sure all wires are wire-tied securely and not touching the speaker baffle or tailgate.

If so look on the back of the console where the rear seat radio controls are and turn the rear seat controls off. when the rear seat controls are on it turns the rear speakers off so the back seat can use head phones. Apr 6, 2012 · There is fuses, check your fuse box that's between the dash and the door, pop off the cover and look at the diagram for speakers. there should also be a fuse on the back of the stereo itself. Try unplugging your battery and leaving it over night. If there is signal but no sound it's the speaker. If there is no signal then start back tracking the wires all the way to the head unit looking for damage.
