I was interested in doing the EGRless tune with the MM3 from DRD, but they said that with high mileage you run the risk of clogging up the SCR. At the heart of what I want to do is basically clean up in the air my truck breaths and be able to bypass any sort of limp mode. A simple scan tool will not be able to reset the countdown message, only clear DTC's. Takes a dealer level diagnostic tool which costs thousands. Not sure if the alfaOBD software can do it either. As has been stated before, your countdown message may very well go away by itself after a few restarts and driving.Step 1: Set up the project and create a function that takes in an the number of seconds we want to count down for.
