I replaced the rod bearings and installed nw oil pump last year (just remove oil pan) and flushed Raidator. Rod bearing are usually the death for the 4.0, when you hear rattling on a hot start and have low oil pressure it's time. next is cracked head from overheating.2006 TJ, Last summer I completely redid the cooling system per the guide here (new hoses, radiator, water pump, fan clutch, T stat and housing), with no cheapo knockoffs. If low, then fill and bleed the air out of the system. If full, there can still be air in the system from the Thermostat change out.
