The subsequent number of hours, with a per-hour pay rate based on seniority, became a rural letter carrier’s base pay.

However, the key will be carrier's ability to count all other mail, bundled flats, raw mail in tubs, sequenced flats, EDDM and see these numbers reflected on the report.
