As far as damper mods the one from Klotesmods looks preferable over the LSS Mods. Kind of pricey for either one though, but then again a significant fuel savings could pay for it. Also bought LSS mod for my GS 800. Not sure how I went without for as long as I did. Did a deep clean before putting it in and haven’t had to clean it since (aside from the grates). Own the 560 and picked up the mods from both .. the coal sleeve is great. I got the 1050 and got the vent mod, firebox, manifold cover, water tray and I also got the new charcoal grate from Masterbuilt. I know the new gravity's already come with it but mine did not. All these additions really helped use less fuel.

ADMIN MOD 1050 Gravity - remove cover bolt I just purchased LSS Mods rear damper cover for my 1050. In the install video (link below), he gives that bolt a couple of twists and it comes right out. I've been spinning mine for 20 minutes and yanking on it with vice grips with no luck. Any suggestions on how to get this bolt out?I put Klotes and LSS side by side and quick glance says LSS is less expensive (won't call them "cheaper"). I tried to compare their basic package deals and noticed that only Klotes makes the "hopper liner" mod so I wonder what issues, if any, folks are having with their hopper interiors and whether I should skip Klotes' "package" and go a la carte if I go with them at all.
