What I have seen on the xterra is the steering angle sensors out of adjust, this will turn on the lights. You will have to reset with the nissan scan tool, for center wheel adjustment setting. try and disconnect the pos battery cable for a bout 10 minutes and see if this resets it make sure you have radio code in case ur radio locks. SOURCE: My brake, slip and VDC indicators stay on. Check brake fluid level, add fluid from sealed container if needed. Also check for leaking rear axle seals.

The P0420 code means there is an issuie with the catalytic converter on bank 1.
